When Mountain Haven conceptualized Villa Azalea togther with multi-awarded architect John David O'Yek*, we felt that Davao deserves something betther than it usually gets -- an urban oasis that will incorporate the elements of design with the desire of Zen Living. The result of this collaboration is the contemporary "bahay kubo" -- a fusion of the elemtns of the present-day Philippine life with the most desirable element of Filipino culture.

Extra-high ceilings incorporated with generous windows and doors to maximize light and airflow. A layout that addresses the need for privy by providing separate quarters for the househelp. And, solid, pre-cast walls softened by the warmth of asphalt-singled roofing.
This is Villa Azalea, a truly contemporary Filipino architectural design within an urban oasis setting.
